The Rio Grande Racers held the First Annual West Texas Shootout for Autism Awareness on Saturday April 30th and Sunday May 1st. We had racers from Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado make the trip to race with us here in El Paso. The wind decided to creep up each day around noon, but we were still able to complete all the racing. The Shootout events were all run and racers gave it a go for the Winner Take-All Final. The Rio Grande Racers sincerely appreciate the efforts of Ray Chavez and Rosemary Neill. Their efforts helped make this event a huge success!
